The monthly meeting was called to order by Gary Napier, President.
Curt Herrington gave the blessing on our meal of soup beans, cornbread, and
desserts.
56 members were present.
Roll Call: Gary Napier resumed the meeting after our meal with roll call of officers and board members. All officers present, board mbrs present with the exception of Steve Isaacs & Julian Gander.
Minutes from December meeting read by secretary, Brenda Williams. Les Gooch motion to accept minutes as read, Curt Herrington seconded, minutes were accepted, no amendments.
Mike Taylor gave a financial report: $ has been set aside into a CD to be used for the club’s annual interest payment. Mike reported roughly $ remains in the checking acct. Mike provided Nov & Dec bank statements to secretary for club records. Mike reported our largest deposits were from gun & xmas raffles, largest outflow from acct was $ for insulation. William Denham made motion to accept & Les Gooch seconded the motion.
Committee reports:
Rifle Range: Rick Muse reported weather is a factor now in beginning work on
rifle range project.
Quail Unlimited: Ray Hammonds, Feb 19 will the steak banquet. They have 16 to 20oz prime steaks coming from Kroger. Kroger will be preparing potatoes as well. Tickets are $10 each, planning on 150 attending the banquet. Other business, Ray reported the water lines are on the club grounds and waiting on better weather to install. Ray presented $ ck to CCSC from trials Quail Unlimited had over the prior weekend.
Archery: Mike Taylor suggested the club look at dates other organizations were having archery meets and coordinate our dates accordingly. We have several volunteers willing to work the events. Mike is going to coordinate with Chris Bishop & volunteers to announce a date suitable for our archery meets.
Building Committee: Chair, R.C. Taylor reported insulation had been blown into the attic and installation of kitchen cabinets by Daniel Downey and Mike Phillippe. Club gave Daniel and Mike a round of applause.

Club members decided January 21, 2005..6:30pm. Donations were given to purchase card tables, $180.00 collected. All members are welcome, even if you decide not to play rook, so please attend. For snacks, everyone is chipping in for pizzas and there will be desserts.
February 15th, 6:30pm will be next club meeting.
Mike Taylor suggested the club look into setting up a booth in Feb at the Heritage Hall Boat Show in Lexington. Club members liked the idea and ask Mike to get more details and if there would be a cost.
No further discussion. Drawing for door prize. Katherine Goode, age 8, drew out a number & the door prize winner was Irene Lamb.
