The monthly meeting was called to order by Gary Napier, President.
Curt Herrington gave the blessing on our meal of casseroles, bread, and
desserts.
51 members were present.
Gary Napier resumed the meeting after our meal with roll call of officers
and board members. Officers/Board members present: Gary Napier, R.C. Taylor,
Brenda Williams, Debbie Muse, Paul Young, Phillip Adams, and alternate, Paul
French.
Absent board mbrs: Les Gooch Mike Taylor, Steve Isaacs, Alvie Atwood, Joe
Amburgey & Julian Gander.
Minutes from January meeting read by secretary, Brenda Williams. R.C. Taylor made motion to accept minutes as read, Phillip Adams seconded, minutes were accepted, no amendments.
R.C. Taylor gave financial report: $ in our checking acct. Reported the club’s insurance premium had gone from approx $ to over $ per year.
Committee reports:
Quail Unlimited: Ray Hammonds, spoke about the National Trials that would be beginning Thursday, Feb 17. There will be 120 dogs in the event. There are 231 tickets out for the Saturday night banquet, Ray said approx 30 more tickets could be purchased, then cutoff.
Ray thanked the Cedar Creek Sportsman’s club members in advance for their assistance with the Nationals.
Old Business: Cabinets are completed; the club members gave Daniel Downey and Mike Phillippe a round of applause.
New business:
Club members decided the next rook game would be February 25, 2005...6:30pm.
All members are welcome. For snacks, everyone is chipping in for pizzas and
there will be desserts.
Quail Unlimited is sponsoring a Youth Hunt…March 5, 9am.
Kitchen Shower: at the March 15th regular meeting, all members were asked to bring something to use in the kitchen.
Kid’s Day, sponsored by Dept of Fish & Wildlife, will be in June, Rick Muse will be presenting information to the club later.
No further discussion. Drawing for door prizes. Lucky winners were: #21, Brayden Price and #26, Janice Southard.
