Cedar Creek Sportsman's Club Meeting
September 13, 2005

The monthly meeting was called to order by Gary Napier, President.
Curt Herrington gave the blessing on our meal of hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and desserts.
44 members & 5 visitors present.

Officers absent: none
Board Member/s absent: Steve Isaacs, Les Gooch, Joe Amburgey, and alternate, William Earl Denham.

Minutes from August meeting read by sec, Brenda Williams. Curt Herrington made motion to approve, James Manuel seconded. Treasurer’s report read by treasurer, Mike Taylor. We have at present $ in the checking account. C.D. used to pay interest on a land loan with approx $ left over. Approx $127,000 balance on land loan. Joe French made motion to accept, Rick Muse seconded.

Other Club & Committee Reports:

Quail Unlimited: No report, Don’t forget youth quail hunts in Casey on 12/3 and here on 3/11….also Oct 29, Fun Hunt-$40.

Skeet Club: Julian Gander reported an average of 15-20 persons at skeet range each Monday & Thursday.

Archery Club: no reports

Gun &Rifle range: Rick Muse reported Kenny Stamper doing the bulldozing work, Alvie Atwood and others completing the building.

Beagle Club: Julian Gander reported a run would be this Saturday.

Coon Club: No report.

Gary ask members to volunteer for duties at Saturday, Sept 17 fish fry.

Mark Todd is going to clean the clubhouse windows. Anyone willing to help clean the clubhouse…Friday night will be cleaning time, see Tommie Gooch. Pepsi will deliver fountain equipment at 10am, Gary Napier will be at building to let them in.

Gun Donations for the Fish Fry as known today:
Darryl Day…..a gun from the Bishop’s Sporting Goods Store
John Hackley…gun
Eddie Carter….a gun won by him through a raffle at the club.
Bishop’s Sporting Goods Store is selling the club guns at their cost, thanks Cris and Shannon Bishop!!
