Cedar Creek Sportsman's Club Meeting
November 15, 2005

The monthly meeting was called to order by Gary Napier, President. Curt Herrington gave the blessing on our meal of chili and pimento cheese sandwiches.

15 members & 1 visitor present.

Officers absent: Vice-President, Debbie Muse & treasurer, Mike Taylor
Board Member/s absent: Steve Isaacs, Alvie Atwood, Paul French, Julian Gander, Joe Amburgey, Joyce Kitts, Mike Carrier, & alternate, William E. Denham.

Minutes from October meeting read by sec, Brenda Williams. Tommie Gooch made motion to approve, Les Gooch seconded. Treasurer’s report read by Gary Napier, Curt Herrington made motion to accept, Billy Boswell seconded. We have at present $ in the checking account.

Other Club & Committee Reports:

Quail Unlimited: Gary reminded members about the Dec 3rd Youth Hunt in Casey County.

Skeet Range: Gary reported good turn-outs on Monday and Thursdays of each week.

Archery Range: Gary reported targets have been stored for the winter.

Gun &Rifle Range: Gary reported these ranges were almost complete.

Beagle Club: No report.

Coon Club: No report.

New Business:

-Gary ask that we do a newsletter to inform all members of the progress being made at the club and the xmas party to be held Dec 20.

Tommie Gooch, Gary, and Brenda Williams drafted a newsletter which should be mailed first of December.

Virda Zars, membership chairperson, is typing newsletter.

Julian Gander, board member is completing the mailings of newsletters.

-Gary Napier made motion that club allow Cub Scouts to meet on one Thursday night a month at club building. Tommie Gooch seconded, all members voted yes.

One door prize: Candle, donated by Debbie Adams…..won by Katherine Goode.

Motion to dismiss made by Les Gooch, seconded by Curt Herrington. All in favor.
